Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.

Here is a list of stuff that I use:

Workstation

  • Gaming Laptop ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 17 SE

I used to work on an Asus ROG Strix laptop, and while it performed well enough for what I needed at the time, it struggled a bit when I was using Unity or Unreal. However, with my current setup—featuring an i9-12950HX, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, and a Samsung 990 PRO 4TB PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD—I now have more than enough horsepower to run almost anything.

  • ASUS ROG Strix Arion

A tool to carry any project from one workstation to another, along with your personal files.

  • XP-PEN Deco PRO M Graphics Tablet

A powerful and versatile tool for digital artists and designers, offering precision and control for drawing, sketching, and creative projects. Although I'm still adjusting to it since it's quite different from using a mouse, it's proving to be very useful for sketches.

  • Razer Naga Pro

A great mouse with plenty of customizable buttons, excellent battery life, and a reliable companion for both gaming and everyday tasks on the computer.

  • Mousepad Satechi

A great, durable mousepad that stays cool to the touch—perfect for those who love that feeling. However, it does add some extra weight when traveling with your laptop and mouse.

  • Docking Station MinTech TH1201 USB Type-C 12 in 1

A perfect docking station for those who prioritize cable management and want to avoid clutter around their laptop. However, the connectivity falls short when using three monitors, as you might encounter display glitches. It works flawlessly with two monitors and smaller peripherals.

  • Razer Iskur XL Gaming Chair

A great gaming chair with excellent ergonomics, designed to provide comfort and durability, especially for supporting heavier individuals.

  • Lenovo L27i-28 Gaming Monitor

Not the best on the market, but the best for me because it opened up countless new worlds.

Development tools

  • Visual Studio

An IDE I've used for developing backend applications and writing code for games in Unity and Unreal.

  • Unreal

  • Postman

A great software for testing APIs.

  • Docker for Desktop

Great software for creating containers for your apps and run them on any environment.

  • Github for Desktop

Great software for managing your repository.

Great opensource software for designing 3D assets for games.
